CENTRAL CITY, Neb. — Five travelers are fortunate to have only suffered minor injuries in a weekend crash in Merrick County.

It happened on Saturday at the junction of highways 92 and 14, which is about six miles north of Central City. According to a news release, a southbound car failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with an eastbound SUV. The Sheriff’s Office says everyone wore their seatbelt and only reported having minor injuries.

Deputies issued a citation to the driver of the car.
