WOOD RIVER, Neb. -- A Wood River woman was sentenced to prison following her meth-related conviction.

Acting U.S. Attorney Susan Lehr said 49-year-old Brenda Wynn, of Wood River, was sentenced in Lincoln on Friday. She will serve 33 months in prison with four-years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.

According to court documents, Wynn sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant in Grand Island, on three separate occasions, in April 2021.

Officials said a total of 153 grams of pure meth and 28 grams of a mixture of meth were distributed.

This case was investigated by the Nebraska State Patrol.
