GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- A man from Grand Island is facing a domestic assault charge after police say he assaulted his girlfriend with a cleaning device.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, officers were called on Thursday to a local hospital in reference to a domestic assault.
Officials said a female victim reported to have been assaulted by her boyfriend, Frantz Kolbjornsen, on Tuesday. She reported Kolbjornsen grabbed a Swiffer Sweeper and hit her with it several times.
According to reports, the victim said the pain increased over the two days since the attack, so she came to the hospital to get checked.
