Central City man arrested for child pornography

CENTRAL CITY, Neb. -- A man from Central City was arrested for child pornography.

The Nebraska State Patrol said they used a search warrant at a home in Central City on July 10 during a child exploitation investigation.

Officials said they arrested 21-year-old Evan Burkhardt on Monday at a different home in Central City. He was arrested for 10 counts of possession of child pornography and was lodged in the Merrick County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
