KEARNEY, Neb. — A Kearney man is behind bars following a multi-agency drug investigation.

The Nebraska State Patrol says investigators arrested 29-year-old Joshua Rose on Friday. The arrest came after state troopers, Kearney Police and a regional task force served a search warrant at a residence in the 2400 block of W 24th St. A news release says investigators found nearly two pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, THC products and about $5,000 of drug money.

The release says two small children were in the same room as the drugs. They were placed in protective care.

Rose is lodged in the Buffalo County Jail on multiple drug charges and two counts of child abuse.
