ST. PAUL, Neb. -- Two people were sent to the hospital after a tractor and semi-truck collided Tuesday.

The St. Paul Volunteer Fire Department said they responded to the crash shortly before noon. 

First responders arrived at the intersection of Alexander Avenue and Highway 281.

Ambulances transported two patients to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities stayed on the scene for six hours as they worked to clear the wreckage.

The Fire Department said no one was seriously injured, and thanked everyone who dropped off water for the workers.
