GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- A driver in central Nebraska faces potentially heavy fines after being stopped for allegedly driving over 100 miles per hour twice in the same morning.

The Nebraska State Patrol says troopers stopped the driver twice on Monday morning. NSP says the driver was exceeding 100 mph each time on I-80 between Grand Island and York.

NSP officials said one of the stops occurred in a construction zone with workers present.
