American Airlines will continue at Central Nebraska Regional Airport
A central Nebraska airport will continue to fly American Airlines.

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- A central Nebraska airport will continue to fly American Airlines.
According to the Central Nebraska Regional Airport, the Department of Transportation has approved American Airlines to provide Essential Air Service to Grand Island.
The service includes 12 nonstop round trips per week to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport using a 65 seat CRJ- 700 regional jet aircraft. The deal runs from July 1 to June 30 of 2025.
American Airlines started providing service at the airport in 2011 and has served over 600,000 passengers since then.
Grand Island also offers twice weekly air service on Allegiant to Phoenix-Mesa and Las Vegas.
