Nebraska State Fly-in and Airshow performers confirmed
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- The Central Nebraska Regional Airport readies to host the state’s most popular annual airshow.
The 2023 Nebraska State Fly-in and Airshow will take place in Grand Island on June 3.
At Wednesday’s Hall County Airport Authority meeting, the board gave some updates about the air show.
Executive Director Michael Olson said the performers are confirmed, and they include eight renowned acts like Lee Crouch, Doug Routh, Susan Day and more.
The airshow will have food trucks, Chinook tours, B-29 rides, static aircraft display and vendor booths.
The airshow will start at 1 p.m., but doors will be open at 9 a.m. and admission will be $5.
At the meeting Olson also gave a report on the number of enplanements during the month of January, which happens to be the slowest month of the year.
Allegiant had 2,700 enplanements with a total of 18 flights and American Airlines had 2,731 enplanements with a total of 60 flights. Those numbers represent a 3% increase from last year in the same month.
