The Construction Trades program was launched as a result of the “Listening Tour” WNCC conducted in 2022 where we visited all counties in the college's service area (the Panhandle), according to Allison Judy, WNCC Public Relations and Marketing Director. She said the need for construction trades workers in the Panhandle communities was brought up at nearly every session in the Listening Tour. College officials determined WNCC could be part of the solution to address workforce shortages in the Panhandle.
