CENTRAL CITY, Neb. -- Authorities in central Nebraska responded to a single-vehicle roll over accident Tuesday afternoon.

The Merrick County Sheriff's office said that they responded to a single-vehicle accident on 15th Road involving five passengers.

Officials said the five passengers included four adults and one infant child. The driver was 19-year-old Wyatt Boroff and one of the passengers was 21-year-old Austyn Redmond both of Merrick County.

Authorities said that all subjects were transported to Merrick Medical Center in Central City, all for treatment of minor injuries.

Deputies said that a preliminary investigation showed that a Chevrolet pickup was traveling southbound on 15th Road and lost control due to road conditions as well as reckless driving causing the vehicle to travel left of center crossing the roadway coming to rest on its top in the west ditch.

Authorities said that alcohol is suspected to be a contributing factor to the accident.

Redmond and Boroff were both taken to Merrick County Corrections.
