Boxing event coming to Fonner Park
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) -Grab your seats and get ready for a swinging good time as boxing takes over the Heartland Event Center next month.
Double R Boxing will present the 90th Annual Central District Golden Gloves Tournament on Saturday, April 2, 2022.
There will be 15 to 20 amateur boxing matches.
These young boxers will try to advance to the National Golden Gloves Tournament in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The boxers from Lincoln all the way to the panhandle of Nebraska to South Dakota and everywhere in between square off for the right to be called the 90th Central District Golden Gloves Champion.
Doors open at 5 p.m. with the fight starting at 6 p.m.
Fonner Park said it’s been experiencing many issues with ticket scams. Remember, etix.com and the Heartland Events Center box office are the only authorized ticket agents.
