KEARNEY, NE — Three people are in custody after police say they stole more than 150 truck tires from a Kearney shop.

On February 14th, Graham Tire reported to Kearney Police that 163 truck tires valued at over $100,000 had been stolen. Security footage showed the tires being loaded from a fenced area into a Penske rental truck.

KPD worked with Penske and the Colorado State Patrol to locate the rental truck. Authorities found it at a rest area near Rifle, CO the next afternoon. Brooke Racker, Jeremy Galbraith and Erwin Ramos, all of Ogden, UT, were inside the truck. Felony arrest warrants are pending for the three suspects.
