Marlon Warren Signs LOI with Peru State Football

(Peru, Neb.) – Peru State head football coach Casey Creehan recently announced the signing of transfer Marlon Warren of Vancleave, Miss.
The son of Ellen and Mark Warren will play running back this year for the Bobcats. Warren graduated from Vancleave High School and played in 2018 season for Wayne State College. In addition, Warren played one season at Belhaven University in Mississippi.
Warren will be majoring in psychology at Peru State.
The 6-0 200-pound Warren in 2018 played in nine games for the Wildcats. During that season he carried the ball 109 times for 405 yards and team-high high four touchdowns. His season high for the year was 147 yards on 34 carries in Wayne State's 23-14 winner over Southwest Minnesota State.
During high school he lettered four years as a linebacker and was named all-district. He also competed in track, basketball and power lifting.
