Roman Jennings pleads guilty to weapons charge and assault of police officer
A Norfolk man who was arrested for dragging a Stanton deputy with his car in 2018, has pleaded guilty.

STANTON - A Norfolk man who was arrested for dragging a Stanton deputy with his car in 2018, has pleaded guilty.
25-year-old Roman Jennings pleaded Guilty in District Court Monday on charges of Felon in Possession of a Firearm and 2nd Degree Assault on a Police Officer.
Jennings was arrested by the Sheriff’s office in July 2018 following a traffic stop where he dragged a deputy and led a vehicle pursuit on Highway 275.
A pistol that he possessed was recovered after being thrown out of the vehicle.
Jennings faces more than twenty years in prison when he is sentenced later this year.
