Sheriff’s Office investigating vandalism at Red Cloud church

Authorities in south central Nebraska are asking for help from the public after a local church was vandalized.

RED CLOUD, Neb. — Authorities in south central Nebraska are asking for help from the public after a local church was vandalized.

The Webster County Sheriff’s Office says Zion Lutheran Church in Red Cloud was vandalized on Friday night or early Saturday morning. The vandals deployed two fire extinguishers and broke an office door. Officials estimate the cost of the damages to be a few thousand dollars.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who might have information to call the office at 402-746-2722.
