GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- Authorities in central Nebraska are investigating a reported burglary that included the theft of a Grand Island woman's dog.

The Grand Island Police Department says a woman noted that several belongings were missing from her apartment, including her dog and items that had been on her kitchen table.

Officers were called to the scene on N. Lafayette Avenue Tuesday evening at approximately 7:00.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
