She was a member of Saint Cecilia Catholic Church where she found great joy and attending and worshiping God. Mama Jane was well known as the Glitter Queen by everyone, and she loved the Huskers, watching every game with zeal. Mama Jane loved everyone. She had a way of finding the gold in every person she met, and there is not one person she has met who didn't love her almost instantly. She was a force, that one, and she will be greatly missed by us all.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane “Dude” Childs Sr.; and nephews, Zach Childs, Michael Morgan Jr., and Tony Miller.
