COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Jessie Henchenski was named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Softball Gold Glove Team and Lauren Zimmerman was named Second Team All-Conference for the second consecutive season, the league office announced on Wednesday.
 
Mackenzi Kroll, a senior from Brighton, Colorado, was named 2023 RMAC Softball All-Conference Honorable Mention.
 
Henchenski, a senior from Fort Collins, Colorado, led the Eagles defensively with a fielding percentage of .985 to earn the Gold Glove selection in the outfield. In 68 total chances, Henchenski recorded 62 put outs with five assists and only one error.
 
On the offensive side of the ball, Henchenski led the Eagles in runs this season.
 
After receiving second team honors a season ago as a utility player, Zimmerman was selected at third base this season.
 
The junior from Reno, Nevada, led the Eagles offensively with a batting average of .363 while starting all 50 games at third base. Zimmerman led the team with 57 hits and was second with 40 RBIs.
 
Defensively, Zimmerman finished the year with 108 assists and a fielding percentage of .899.
 
Kroll earned her second consecutive honorable mention selection after being CSC's mainstay at catcher the previous two seasons.
 
Defensively, Kroll finished tied for first in the conference after throwing out 10 attempted stolen bases. Offensively, she set the schools record for homers in a career this season.
 
While hitting .311, Kroll led CSC with 12 doubles, 14 home runs and 41 RBIs.
 
Myah Arrieta of Colorado Mesa was selected as the RMAC Player of the Year. Her teammate, Preslee Christensen, was the conference pitcher of the year and the Maverick's coach, Mercedes Bohte, was the Coach of the Year.
 
Elyse McMullin of Colorado Christian was named the RMAC Freshman of the Year.
