Vehicle fire reduces Highway 30 to one lane near Brule

Fire fighters were on scene hosing down the charred shell of what appeared to be a four-door pickup shortly after 4:45 p.m., according to one witness.

BRULE - Westbound traffic on Highway 30 near Brule was blocked Wednesday afternoon due to a vehicle fire. 

Fire fighters were on scene hosing down the charred shell of what appeared to be a four-door pickup shortly after 4:45 p.m., according to one witness. 

A cause of the fire, and how many people were involved and their health condition, were not immediately available. 

Emergency officials were directing one lane traffic through the scene.
