FALLS CITY - The Richardson County Sheriff's Office reports arrests through Jan. 14, including arrests linked to drug enforcement.
Max Shafer, IV, 36, of Shubert is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person on Jan. 4.
A Richardson County Sheriff’s Office affidavit says there was an ambulance call in rural Richardson County during a severe winter storm and a deputy entered the residence after telling Shafer he was there to assist the rescue squad. EMS arrived to transport an elderly man and the deputy told the court he noticed a shotgun hanging on the kitchen wall.

A Richardson County Sheriff’s Office affidavit says a deputy stopped Dexter’s Honda Civic on Highway 75 and suspected the plates were registered to a Dodge pickup. The affidavit says methamphetamine was found in Dexter’s pocket and meth pipes were found inside the vehicle.
