LAUREL - The top-ranked Stanton Mustangs looked every bit the part Friday evening, dominating from the beginning and routing Laurel-Concord-Coleridge 70-26 in the regular season finale for both teams.

The #1 team in Class D1 imposed their will on the Bears early, dominating at the line of scrimmage. The Mustangs gained 431 yards in the first half alone, opening a 56-0 lead at the break.

The D1 defending champs have now won 21 games in a row, a streak that dates back to a loss to Clarkson/Leigh in the 2022 semifinals.
