HARTINGTON - The winning ways for Cedar Catholic continue as the Trojans defeat the Norfolk Catholic Knights 49-33 and head to their fourth straight District Final.

This was the second time the Trojans and Knights had seen each other, after Cedar Catholic managed to defeat Norfolk Catholic 39-30 on December 12th.

The Trojans didn't skip a beat in their second going against the Knights, either.

Carrying the momentum of a 62-24 win over Bloomfield on Tuesday, the Trojans used their defense to create offense.

The first quarter was low-scoring and defensive, with the Knights leading early, but the Trojans scored a bucket at the quarter's buzzer to lead 11-9 at the end of one.

Cedar Catholic used the momentum and found some more scoring on offense, thanks to Makenna Noecker's 15 first-half points.

The Trojans led the Knights 29-20 at halftime, and the lead only extended from that point on, surged by another impressive half by Makenna Noecker, who finished with a game-high 32 points.

Cedar Catholic held on for the 49-33 win and moves on to another District Final appearance, where the Trojans will look to win it's fourth straight final and get back down to Lincoln for the State Tournament.

Addison Corr finished with 11 points for Norfolk Catholic in the loss, as the Knights fall to 11-12 and finish its season.

Cedar Catholic improves to 19-6 and will wait to see who they will play in the District Final on a date to be announced.
