HARTINGTON - The Cedar Catholic boys basketball team erased a 14-point first-half deficit, taking the defending Class B champs to overtime and beating Omaha Roncalli Catholic 56-52.

The Crimson Pride opened the game on a 9-0 run, and at one point led 21-7. But Cedar Catholic chipped away at the Roncalli lead, eventually taking an eight-point lead of their own in the third quarter.

Roncalli fought back, tying the game in the final minute on a Brady McGill three pointer. The tie was sealed when Brooks Shetlar blocked Cedar Catholic's Jaxson Bernecker just before time expired.

The Trojans came up clutch from the free throw line in the extra session, hitting 6-of-8 to salt away the win.
