LINCOLN - It's a rematch of the national title in Madison on Wednesday night as the recently top-ranked Husker Volleyball teams visits #5 Wisconsin.

The Badgers have won three straight Big Ten titles and enter the contest 15-3 overall and 9-1 in Big Ten play. Nebraska Head Coach John Cook knows the task at hand for the Big Red.

"They've got a lot of great players, they do a really great job," Cook said while speaking of the Badgers. "They've won three straight Big Ten championships... Now we have to go on the hunt here, we're not protecting anything, so it's a great challenge for us."

Nebraska senior Madi Kubik says while the team doesn't want to look too deep into prior matches with Wisconsin, motivation is one way to do so.

"I think motivation might be the only way to look back on past matches with them," Kubik said. "We can't change what happened in the past we can only use what we learned and translate it to this match. I think the only other thing that could also be useful is remembering tendencies, or things they did in past matches, and use that in our strategy for this match."

Nebraska has bounced back and forth between a 5-1 set and a 6-2. Wisconsin also recently went to a 6-2.

"It's interesting they're [Wisconsin] running a 6-2, and so are we, they hadn't done that in a really long time and neither had we," Kubik said. "We know Devyn Robinson on the right side will be a great challenge for us, they like to give her the ball a lot, and I think if we just continue to be really aggressive at the net, we'll have a much easier job defending their offensive players."

Nebraska enters with six consecutive sweeps and eleven straight wins for a record of 18-1, the only loss coming to Stanford. The match gets underway at 8:00 PM Wednesday on BTN.
