NORFOLK, Neb. -- Nucor, the largest recycler in the U.S., brought back a tradition they paused way back in 2013: Scrap Recycle Day.

They gave around 300 people in the area a chance to get rid of their old T.V.'s, appliances, cans or any scrap for more than the average price in a special event on Saturday.

"It's really important to the environment," said Environmental engineer Josh Cain.

Alter-metal will take your metal any day.

Since the event's turnout was nearly thrice the turnout in 2013, Nucor is planning to bring it back next year again.
