Chadron golfers hang tough at Gering Invite
Just five days after shooting a season team best score of 373 at the Chadron Invite, the Cardinal boys golf team came away with a 378 at Tuesday’s Gering meet and were shut out of the top ten.
Chase Olson had another solid outing with an 88. Broc Berry shot a 93 and Jacksyn Behrends tallied a 97.
To say the field was tough is an understatement. Cheyenne Central, who won the team portion with a 318, had all five of their golfers on the scorecard score an 84 or under.
The Cardinals are at Ogallala next Thursday to close out the regular season.
