The Superintendent of Omaha Public Schools says there are places in Omaha where she doesn’t feel safe, which makes her worry about student safety.
A top official with Union Pacific Railroad says in the Omaha suburbs UP's white-collar minority employees have seen racial stereotyping up close and personal.
Those comments and more during a recent statewide examination of race and government’s potential role in increasing diversity in Nebraska.
