Leyton unbeaten through five games for first time in seven years
Junior Running Back Kole Bush rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, caught four passes for 66 yards and two more scores, and the Leyton football team beat Morrill, 47-12, on Homecoming night in Dalton Friday.

DALTON - Junior Running Back Kole Bush rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, caught four passes for 66 yards and two more scores, and the Leyton football team beat Morrill, 47-12, on Homecoming night in Dalton Friday.
Junior Quarterback Scout Gamble threw for four touchdowns, 186 yards and two interceptions on 11-25 passing to help the Warriors improve to 5-0, their best start since they started 4-0 in 2013. They finished 7-2 that season and lost to Hay Springs in the first round of the playoffs.
Juniors Jonathon Borges and Brayden Haley each registered a sack. Freshman Peyton Abbott returned an interception for a touchdown.
Leyton hosts Hitchcock County (3-2) on Friday. Morrill (1-4) hosts Mullen (3-2) on Thursday.
