Authorities arrest man found passed out in driveway
FAIRBURY, NE — A man is behind bars after police say he was found with drugs while passed out in someone else’s driveway.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says it responded to a call of an unresponsive person inside a vehicle parked on a rural Jefferson County driveway. The call came in around 8:30 Thursday morning. First responders found 51-year-old Roy Jones of Concordia, KS, in the driver’s seat of the vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Office says Jones didn’t have a driver’s license or insurance. An investigation found meth inside the vehicle. Jones was arrested on drug charges and taken to the Jefferson County Jail.
