LINCOLN - Bryan Health is again updating the public on their efforts to test prepare for COVID-19.

Hospital officials say during a news conference Friday that they have tested 147 people at their drive-thru COVID-19 testing center.

All of those tests are still pending results.

54 have been tested at the hospital and 44 are negative with 10 pending results.

Officials also say that they will begin streamlining the testing to just COVID-19.

In the hospital itself, officials are opening a 14 bed isolation unit for COVID-19 patients. So far, none of those beds are occupied.

As of Friday morning, The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services has reported two confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lancaster County.
