MADISON COUNTY - A Norfolk woman accused of shooting a passenger in her car in February had two charges added to her case at a hearing Wednesday morning.

According to court documents, Jamie Rodriguez now faces charges of second-degree assault and terroristic threats. She's already charged with first-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

Investigators say Rodriguez was driving her passenger, Julian Vasquez-Rodriguez around when they got into an argument. That's when she shot him.

A witness told police Rodriguez said he was assaulting her and that's why she shot him.

Rodriguez is currently out on bond. Her trial is set to begin on November 12th.
