STANTON - A Norfolk man has been arrested on drug charges after being pulled over for speeding.

In a news release from the Stanton County Sheriff's Office, authorities say 25-year-old Fernando Lopez Jr. of Norfolk was pulled over on Highway 35 near Woodland Park for speeding around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday.

After a search, Lopez was found to be in possession of more than 18 grams of Methamphetamine, Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.

He was jailed pending the posting of a $250,000 bond.
